Tampa Soccer & Futsal Academy hosted the "Hispanic Heritage FUTSAL Tournament 2004
The "Hispanic Heritage Cup 2004" was so well received that The US COURTS SOCCER FEDERATION made it one of its official
yearly sanctioned tournaments. The Tampa Soccer & Futsal Academy located in Tampa, Florida, hosted the weekend event on
the 5th & 6th of November, the first Yearly Hispanic Heritage Futsal Tournament, in honor and celebration of the Hispanic
month. This will become a yearly way of celebrating this very important month. The Academy is a licensed member of the US
Court Soccer Federation, which is the only licensing entity in the US of the Asociacion de Mundial Futsal and is supported
by the City Of Tampa Parks and Recreation department. The participating teams were mostly from Latin American decedents
living in the USA. There were 3 teams composed of Brazilians, 1 of Mexicans and 1 of Colombians, 1 team called the Tampa
Knights, and two teams with all students visiting the University of Tampa.

the 3rd place to their countrymen of"Brasil Para" |

The team"Cerro" had some great games but also they did not reach the
finals. They insisted that "El Proffe" should join them in the
picture. |
