International Futsal AMF Tournament in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
First part was played in New York during the month of January.
with a tie game of 1-1 and a win of the second game of 7-5 in favor of the USA.
The second part of the series was played in Toronto
Canada on Saturday March the 29th. An audience of approximately 1500 was
witnessed the second part of the International Futsal Series between USA and
Canada. The Canadians had to come up with a win of at least two games or a goal
difference of 3 points in their advantage.
The first game ended up in a tie of 5-5
after a great come back from the Canadians who were losing 4-1.
The second and very exciting game was
all Canadian but the USA team knew how to keep them to only a win of 4-3
The USA Team took the trophy home with a goal
differential of 1 point.
The very active Toronto Futsal and the USA/AMF Futsal
Federation have many programs coming up for the upcoming Summer.
The next activity will be held in July in the City of
Tampa were the Florida Futsal and Soccer Association will held their yearly Mid
Summer Futsal Extravaganza with teams from Paraguay, Brazil, Canada and USA. Any
other Futsal Club or organization from any country is welcome to join this
tournament.
In the month of November there will be the Copa Juan
Carlos Ceriani also held in Tampa or Orlando.
Any member of the Florida Futsal & Soccer
Association still have the opportunity to host this event.
